By definition antique refers to something 100 years or older. The term is often used loosely these days to describe anything “old” and of value. It is more commonly thought that “antiques” are at least 50 years old and “vintage” somewhere between the 30-50 year mark. I really hate thinking that I am vintage! Vintage and retro are often interchanged, but really mean the same thing…its old, used, pretty cool, and may likely make a style comeback.
We have it all at The Gilded Willow. We have antiques, vintage, used, retro, mid-century modern, worn, and even new. Stop in to see our huge selection on both floors.
